Hanshi Marshall McDonagh left us on January 8, 2025.

Marshall was a true Budo Kyoshi and gave so much to so many during his lifetime. I am grateful to have had him as a Sensei and good friend for over 50 years and thank him for all the knowledge he generously shared.

Now that his Ki has faded, Yoshinken, (a true treasure to the Budo world) and I will continue in his spirit.

The last words between us shortly before he passed away were

” No regrets, I had a good life”
